Mission Statement

To provide innovative, practical human resource solutions that address business issues with integrity, responsiveness, and sensitivity to employees of Mariposa County and other customers.


The services provided by Human Resources are:

  • Administration of labor and employee relations, and guidance to departments for same
  • Conducting and administering the County’s recruitment and selection program
  • Developing, administering, and conducting Countywide training programs
  • Ensure County compliance with applicable labor, benefit, medical, and safety laws and regulations
  • Provide oversight of the County's classification and compensation system
  • Maintaining personnel records
