General Assistance (GA)

General Assistance is a program that provides assistance to County residents who are unemployed or disabled and are not eligible for or supported by any other cash assistance program.

Filing an Application

You can apply online at BenefitsCal.com or by visiting us at 5362 Lemee Lane in Mariposa or at our Coulterville office at 5026 Broadway, or by calling our Customer Service Center at 1 (209) 966-2000 or Toll-Free 1 (800) 549- 6741 to apply using an electronic signature or request an application by mail.  Our office is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
