PREA Classes
The Mariposa County Adult Detention Facility conducts bimonthly PREA Classes.

- July 16th, 2020
- September 17th, 2020
- November 19th, 2020
Classes are 4 hours long and run from 1 P.M. to 5 P.M. Preregistration for the class is required. Sign-ups close a week prior to scheduled class. To sign up for a class please email the PREA Trainer.
Do I need PREA Training?
Anyone who may have contact with Inmates in our facility needs to have attended a PREA Class to enter our facility with the exemption of the Inmates Attorney.
Contractors / Volunteer
If you are only entering our facility to do contracted work/repairs and will be accompanied by Jail Staff at all times a "Contractor/Volunteer PREA Education and Acknowledgment (PDF)" form needs to be submitted to the facility.
