Support Business In an effort to continue to help Mariposa County Residents and local business, the Department of Human Services is managing a Subsidized Employment program called MARIPOSA WORKS that provides jobs for the unemployed, supports business, and helps motivated job seekers gain new skills. The job seekers will be employed by Mariposa County and private businesses and be placed on a temporary assignment at your place of business. You will not pay any fees - no hourly wages, no sourcing fees.
Promote Employment Without breaking your budget, you can hire people who have been affected by the economy and are out of work. Through the Subsidized Time-limited Employment Program know as MARIPOSA WORKS, participating businesses will gain motivated workers without having to pay their hourly wage. MARIPOSA WORKS is managed by the Department of Human Services and funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
