Low Income Rental Assistance
For assistance with the process of obtaining rent subsidized housing and a deposit, contact Mariposa County Health and Human Services at (209) 966-2000.
To be eligible for rental assistance prospective tenants must apply for a housing choice voucher, also known as Section-8, from the Housing Authority of Stanislaus, of which manages the issuance of housing choice vouchers for Mariposa County. The Stanislaus Reginal Housing Authority can be contacted by calling (209) 557-2000 or by visiting stancoha.org.

Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) Weatherization
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assist low-income household’s lower energy costs. LIHEAP provides federally funded assistance in managing costs associated with weatherization and energy-related minor home repairs.
