Overview

Mariposa County Behavioral Health and Recovery Services is a division of Mariposa County Department of Health & Human Services. Our office is located at 5362 Lemee Lane, Mariposa, next to Cal Fire on Highway 49 North.

A wide range of mental health services and substance use disorder services are provided for children, youth and adults.

Services include:

  • Psychiatric services (including medication management)
  • Case management
  • Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Groups
  • 24/7 Crisis Response
  • Adult Team Meetings (ATM)
  • Child and Family Team Meetings

  • Whole Person Care
  • Wellness Center

Crisis Response

Crisis Response is provided by the Triage Response and Access to Care (TRAC) Team. The TRAC Team responds to crisis incidents in the community, jail, schools, hospitals and other areas where emergency Behavioral Health Services are needed. GRIEVANCES, APPEALS, STATE HEARING & PATIENT RIGHTS ADVOCATE

If you have a problem with your Medi-Cal mental health services, we would like to help. You can file a Grievance, an Appeal, or a State Fair Hearing to help resolve your problem. If you have Medi-Cal benefits and you receive mental health services, you have the right to request an Appeal when your service provider conducts: 1) a reduction of services, 2) a denial of services, 3) termination of services, or 4) does not make timely decisions. 

Grievances and Appeals can be submitted by filling out a Grievance Appeal form (PDF). Forms can also be picked up in Mariposa at the Human Services Center or Quest Counseling, or at the North County Office in Coulterville. Completed forms can be dropped off at the Human Services Center or mailed to:
